Writing Fellows also develop interactive multimedia for the Web. The first phase of this program began in the Fall of 1999, with the English 383 class that trains Writing Fellows and tutors. Students filmed simulations of "difficult "tutorial sessions. The WAC Program, with funding from the Program to Enhance Teaching Effectiveness (PETE) and technical assistance from the Media Resource Center. "Training for Tough Tutorials" has been used since the Fall of 2000 by new peer tutors.

A Hypertextual "reading lab" for Aldous Huxley's Brave New World and an expansion of the Spirit of the Southern Frontier Web archive are currently underway, with student Technology Fellows assisting faculty in preparing and proofreading materials in each case.
